Established in indigenization, utilization andindustrialization, the Wei's group in NERCCFC developed a kind of noble andrare earth-based FD automobile exhaust catalytic converter, after many yearsof laborious research. This kind of converter has low light-off temperature (230-280℃), excellent heat resistance and longoperating life.
The performance of the converterreaches the advanced level of domestic and overseas products. It also reachesthe stringent emissions regulation of EUROPE-III level when tested in China National AutomobileQuality SupervisionTest Center.
The technology now is conveyed to theFuzhou Zhaori Environmental Protection Technology Development Co., Ltd. and a150,000 set catalytic converter production line was built in that company.The FD converter adapts to 11 types of automobiles and now is supplied to 3automobile manufactories.
